Accreditation

European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS/EACCME)

Accreditation is applied for at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). This accreditation will be endorsed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) ensuring that the CME credits awarded to the participants are recognized by the national medical authorities who have agreed to co-operate in this European system. EACCME The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.

Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance. With this certificate delegates can claim the EACCME accreditation points.

American Medical Association (AMA)

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/cme/uemseaccme-cme-credit-recognition

Accreditation for Dutch participants

For Dutch participants there will also be request for accreditation at the following associations:

  • De Vereniging voor Verslavingsgeneeskunde Nederland (VVGN)
  • Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register (VSR)
  • Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie (NVvP)
  • Federatie Vaktherapeutische Beroepen
  • Federatie van Gezondheidszorgpsychologen en Psychotherapeuten (FGzPt)
  • Registerplein
